She will discuss the most common operational errors and how to correct them using the IRS and the DOL correction programs: the Employee Plan Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS), the Delinquent Filer Voluntary Compliance Program (DFVCP), and the Voluntary Fiduciary Compliance Program (VFCP).
- APRIL 28, 2021: What to Expect from 2021 Audits of 2020 Plan Financial Statements – On April 28 from 3-3:50PM EST, Maria T. Hurd, CPA, RPA is presenting at the ASPPA Spring National 2021 event. She will discuss the changes in plan provisions and processes that have occurred as a result of the SECURE Act, the CARES Act, and other IRS and EBSA Notices and how they will affect audits of retirement plan financial statements.
